For many, a world without bleeding disorders is simply a dream. Thousands of kids and adults affected face internal bleeding, costly treatments and lifelong infusions.

My son Emmett has hemophilia type A severe. This means he has no clotting factor in him. He gets weekly infusions to help him but even with these infusions he may still get bleeds which then requires more infusions. Emmett is terrified of needles and the infusion process is very difficult. He fights us and begs us not to hurt him. It's very hard on us all.
