Bleeding Disorders of the Heartland is a nonprofit organization that works with families all across the state of Iowa who are affected with a bleeding disorder. Our mission is to educate, connect and support those affected with bleeding disorders. The funds raised during this Unite walk will be used to further our mission throughout the year with exciting events, relaxing connection time and many educational opportunities for our members. The National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (NBDF) is dedicated to finding cures for inheritable blood and bleeding disorders and to addressing and preventing the complications of these disorders through research, education, and advocacy, enabling people and families to thrive.
