If you know JJ, you know that he is one of the friendliest guys around. He loves his family, his classmates and meeting new people. He’s bright, creative and super active!  All of that energy sometimes means boo boos that need IV factor replacement therapy and ER visits. 

Treatment has come so far, but we hope it gets even better so he can live a carefree life without worrying about being constantly being covered in bruises, or permanent joint damage from bleeds, or having to get a CT scan every time he bumps his head.

Your donation helps ensure JJ has a community of support with other bleeders and families through the NYCHC. It allows access to education and programming where he can empower himself and learn how to self infuse (he’s already been practicing at learning events!).
