9th Annual Walk in the Jungle!
Much more than just a fundraising event, the Walk in the Jungle brings together individuals affected by bleeding disorders, their families, friends, supporters, and a diverse range of others who want to enjoy an amazing day at Jungle Island while supporting a worthy cause. It attracts people of every age and background, from parents with infants in tow to grandparents and everything in between. Remember, all registered walkers get to spend the entire day at Jungle Island!
The funds raised at this event will be used to assist our overall mission to find btter treatments and cures for bleeding disorders and to prevent the complications of these disorders through education, awareness, advocacy and research.
We’ve set our sights high to raise over $100,000, but we can’t do it without you! Please create a team and have your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and anyone else you know help you not only raise funds but also raise awareness for hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. If someone you know has already created a team, join their team and support them! And if you can’t make it to the Walk at Jungle Island on May 5, you can still support it by creating a virtual team! Please spread the word to support the important work that chapters like us and other chapters across the country do for those affected with a serious bleeding disorder!
PARTICIPANTS WHO MAKE A $25 MINIMUM DONATION WILL RECEIVE A
UNITE FOR BLEEDING DISORDERS T-SHIRT
We hope you'll join us at Jungle Island on May 5th! The event will include food, refreshments, exhibits, and more. There will also be plenty of entertainment, including a photo booth, face painting, characters, DJ and fun for the whole family!
The Florida Hemophilia Association (FHA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the bleeding disorders community by creating programs and services that provide education, emotional support and advocacy. We are contributing toward research to ultimately find a cure.
