I have worked for Great Lakes Hemophilia Foundation for the past 5 years and have had the privilege of putting together the Unite Walk each year. GLHF's mission is to support, educate and advocate for the bleeding disorders community of Wisconsin and our vision is life without limits for the bleeding disorders community.
All money raised at this event stays in Wisconsin to support families and individuals living with bleeding disorders. Your donation helps fund programs like our weeklong overnight kid's camp (Camp Klotty Pine), where kids can go with their nurses and have a traditional camp experience with other kids who know exactly what they're going through. They also begin to learn to infuse themselves with factor as young as 7 years old. The money raised at the Walk also helps support our annual bleeding disorders conference, emergency financial assistance, educational programming, advocacy at the state and national level and more!
Last year our team blew our goal of $1,000 out of the water! This year we are hoping to raise at least $1,500. A donation of any amount helps tremendously. Thank you for your support and "United, we will make a difference."
Cheers,
Tomi Lynn
