Meet our cute little guy Cayson! He is the baby of our family and he brings such a light and joy to us all! We don’t know where we would be without him, he came into our family when we were experiencing a hard trial and he helped ease that burden. Heavenly Father knew exactly what we needed at that time. He continues to bring so much happiness and laughter into our lives!
When Cayson was born he was diagnosed with a rare bleeding disorder called Hemophilia A, which means his blood does not clot on its own.
Cayson has had the blessing of having a wonderful, supportive family and Hemophilia community. One of the biggest supporters for him is going to camp where he learns about bleeding disorders and gets to know other kids in his similar situation. This is somewhere where he can draw strength from this lifelong challenge he faces through having this disorder. He learns how to be his own advocate and learns how to self infuse when needed. He is such a great example to our family of how to do hard things!
As a family with a Hemophiliac we too have been grateful for the support camp offers! It’s a time we have fun and bond together as a family and a community. We learn how to support the ones we love physically, emotionally, and financially.
We would love your donation to keep this camp going for Cayson and all those in our community with bleeding disorders. Every dollar makes a HUGE difference.❤️
Each person on our team has a story to tell, a reason to walk and a cause that binds us together.
We believe that, together, we can create a world free of bleeding disorders – that’s why we Unite.
Please consider joining our team for the UNITE for Bleeding Disorders walk. Isn’t that something to UNITE behind? We love you and thank you for your support!
The National Hemophilia Foundation is dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for inheritable bleeding disorders and to preventing the complications of these disorders through education, advocacy and research. "Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success."
