Hemophilia is a lifelong, genetic bleeding disorder that prevents the blood from clotting normally. The main symptom is uncontrolled, often spontaneous bleeding. Our family is participating in the Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk on May 6, 2018, at Jungle Island.
It’s fast and easy to make a tax-deductible donation on our online personal fundraising page.
I hope that I can count on your support of this exciting event! Alex and thousands of families in our community, and across the country will benefit from your support and the success of the Walk.
You can also support my fundraising efforts by forwarding this email to as many people as you can to inspire them to donate as well! Every step does make a difference in the lives of people affected by bleeding disorders.
The National Hemophilia Foundation is dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for inheritable bleeding disorders and to preventing the complications of these disorders through education, advocacy and research. "Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success."
