The UNITE Walk is set for
Saturday, August 9
at the Elmwood Park Zoo!
UNITE for hope.
We’re excited to bring the Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk back to Elmwood Park Zoo, where families, friends, and supporters can come together for a day of connection, advocacy, and fun! Join us on Saturday, August 9, 2025, for the 3rd Annual Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk, where we’ll walk side by side to raise awareness and funds for those living with Hemophilia, von Willebrand Disease, and other rare bleeding disorders. This family-friendly event offers a unique opportunity to support an important cause while creating lasting memories with loved ones in a one-of-a-kind setting.
The Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk brings together individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders with friends, neighbors, coworkers, and local chapters to support critical programs and services for those living with Hemophilia, von Willebrand Disease, and other rare bleeding disorders.
Funds raised through the Walk help the Eastern Pennsylvania Bleeding Disorders Foundation:
Advocate for patients and promote blood safety for everyone.
Support families in need with assistance for medical bills, transportation to treatment centers, knee/elbow braces, and other essential medical devices.
Provide free medical ID jewelry to our members.
Offer year-round educational programs for the local bleeding disorders community.
Build a strong support network for individuals and families.
Increase awareness about bleeding disorders and their impact.
Your participation ensures we can continue providing education, support groups, and financial assistance to those in need.
By joining the Unite Walk, you raise needed funds and awareness while showing the strength and unity of the Bleeding Disorders Community.
Register by starting a team, joining a team, or walking as an individual.
Local businesses are invited to sponsor the event or a walk team!
Thank you for being part of this important cause!
