Each year, the New England Hemophilia Association (NEHA) hosts an annual Walk to bring together the regional bleeding disorders community and their supporters to raise crucial funds for the organization! 100% of all individual donations raised go directly to NEHA's services and programs.
Last year, over 2,000 walkers & virtual walkers at the NEHA Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk raised an incredible $450,000, making this Walk the largest bleeding disorders event in the country! Your past dedication and support to this important fundraiser allows us to assist, advocate, and serve those with a bleeding disorder in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
To protect the health and well-being of our community, NEHA transitioned to a virtual Walk on September 26, 2020. We encouraged families to walk that day in small groups with family and/or friends. The best thing about this virtual Walk, was that teams could pick any location, time, and length!
Wicked Strong. Together.
Virtual Walk Celebration
On Saturday, September 26 we hosted an interactive Virtual Walk Celebration! While we were disappointed that we could not be together in-person, we must continue to be united. Holding this virtual event allowed us to maintain the emotion, unity, and spirit that make this event special year after year. This event was filled with family friendly entertainment, while highlighting team efforts, awarding trophies, hearing from our sponsors and more. Watch a recording of the Virtual Walk Celebration here.
To help support NEHA’s mission to provide education, support and advocacy to the bleeding disorders community, you can still place a tax-deductible donation to our Walk.
The National Hemophilia Foundation is dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for inheritable bleeding disorders and to preventing the complications of these disorders through education, advocacy and research. "Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success."
