2018 KENTUCKY UNITE WALK
WHAT: The Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk is the National Hemophilia Foundation's (NHF) largest national event dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for bleeding and clotting disorders, and to preventing the complications of these disorders through awareness, education, advocacy and research.
WHY: Established in 1960 as the Kentucky Chapter of NHF, the Kentucky Hemophilia Foundation is the only organization in Kentucky exclusively serving the bleeding disorders community. Now in its 58th year, the Kentucky Hemophilia Foundation continues to be a vital resource for prevention education and provides a network of support for Kentuckians living with bleeding disorders and their families.

WHERE: Wetherby Park, 11803 Old Shelbyville Road, Middletown, KY - Check-in begins at 10:00 am / Walk begins at 11:00 am
DISTANCE: 1 - 5k (up to 3.1 miles)
NEW THIS YEAR: Super Heroes Theme, Prizes for Best Costume (Kids and Adults)
HOW: It’s simple. It’s easy. Everyone is invited to participate! Fundraise for bleeding disorders and win great prizes! Make a personal contribution of at least $25 and receive a Walk t-shirt! Kids' t-shirts (16 and under) are free! You may sign up as an individual Walker, Virtual Walker, as a Team Captain or Team Member.
TEAMS: Form a team. Sign up as a Team Captain. Choose a Team name. Recruit team members from your circle of friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors, and fundraise.
VOLUNTEER: Help us make our 5th annual Walk a success. Volunteers are appreciated before and/or during the Walk. Unable to do the Walk but still want to participate? Enlist as a Volunteer.
