Unite for Bleeding Disorders is the signature fundraising and awareness campaign of the National Hemophilia Foundation. This national
Walk program is designed to provide hope for the thousands of families forced to face the challenges caused by bleeding disorders and raise awareness of this bleeding disorders in the broader community. Funds raised stay in our local community to support the mission of one the most respected nonprofits in the country.

While Bleeding Disorders are rare, their impact on those affected is great. When it can cost nearly $350,000 to keep a healthy adult, healthy; the financial burden to those affected can quickly skyrocket. Our Chapter works diligently to provide opportunities for education of patients and their families, support that encourages life beyond diagnosis, and aid when financial emergencies occur. The funds we raise go directly into action in the lives of our Chapter members.

The Central Ohio Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation is dedicated to providing education, advocacy, and support programs for people with bleeding and clotting disorders and to driving innovations that lead to a better quality of life for our consumers. The Chapter impacts over 400 families throughout 28 counties in Central and Southeastern Ohio. Patients range in age from infants to seasoned adults. We also serve caregivers and family members of patients. We provide a diverse offering of programs and services that focus on advocacy, education and support that benefit patients and families in many ways.
